The Spica Speaker was designed by Yuki Tamamoto and is a speaker that not only plays music the regular way, it also lets you see the music. Don't get too excited though as the gadget is just a concept at the moment.
The Spica Speaker can be looked at as a lava lamp / speaker setup that has water, light and some sort of gel that responds to the music allowing you to also watch the music as well.
As it's just concept we don't think we will ever see the speaker launched although in some ways it's kind of a cool idea.
