Sony have announced an 18000 lumen projector. Thats a crazy amount of lumens there! just over 10x what my projector at home has 
The Sony projector will be used for screens larger then 50ft (Imax??). The projector was revealed at a showing of The Da Vinci Code and the source of the delivery was a hard drive.
