The PMX-M70 is Sonys next entry in to the PMP market. This portable media player has a 4.3 inch widescreen which allows you to watch clear MP4 and AVI videos. For storage you have three options which are 2GB, 4GB or 8GB of flash memory. This allows you to store a number of audio and video files on the device and play back the video for 5 hours per charge and audio for 20 hours. The device measures 16.7 x 74.4 x 12.7mm. 12.7mm is quite thin for a PMP which follows along line with many other Sony devices such as the Vaio TZ laptops which are also ultra thin. This PMP weighs just 129g.
As well as being able to play audio and video the PMP is capable of tuning in to FM radio. It has built in speakers, TV-Out and direct video/audio encoding. Its quite a nice set of features packed inside it. No pricing is available yet and we are not sure yet if it will make it to the US and Europe, but we do hope so and I hope also to see a nice price tag.
