Not many phones are using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset yet although it has been around for some time now. This is about to change though because HTC are rumoured to be looking in to using these fast and low powered processors.
Information was leaked that indicated HTC would deliver 2 smartphones either by quarter 3 or 4 this year. The 2 smartphones will be touchscreen which have a 3.6 inch display and a larger one at 4.8 inches.
The current Snapdragon chipset is capable of running up to 1.5GHz and is capable of powering a device with a screen up to 12 inches and a resolution of 1440×900 pixels.
