Skype International calls from your Mobile

To Go is a new service from Skype which allows you to link an international phone number with a local number to make the call at a cheap rate. The system works by you choosing 1 phone number in another country which you wish to talk to, and then assigning a local rate number to access the international number. When you call the local number from your cell phone the number in the international country rings and you get the call charged at the Skype rate of just a few cents per minute (+ your local call rate which is often free). You will need to be a Skype Premium member to use this offer.

This wont be a huge benefit to some people as it allows you to just call the 1 international number at a cheap rate. However, if you are constantly calling that same number for business then you could save a small fortune.

If this doesnt work for you and you are in the UK then you can always check out the 3 network and X-Series which allows Skype to Skype calls for free from your mobile.

Also a final option is Fring which works with several VoIP clients, but it does require Wi-fi access to work which isnt always possible, or GPRS which can be expensive depending on your call plan.
