Roots and Wings Co have created a detailed tutorial that gives all the steps you need on how to make your own soap bars that look like bricks of Lego.
The mold that created the bricks was made of urethane and was shaped around actual Lego bricks. By attaching the real Lego bricks to a surface and building up surrounding walls it allows the liquid urethane to be poured and left to set. Once the mold is created it allows for soap to be poured and again left to set creating some colourful Lego soap bricks. [click to continue…]

This Sega Genesis controller is a bar of soap that you have to admit, looks like the real thing. It weighs under 9 ounces and is the latest in line to a bunch of other console controller soaps that have been around on Etsy
The soap is made of natural and vegan products which means no animal products/testing have been used or done. Ingredients are listed below… [click to continue…]

We are seeing a bunch of geeky style soaps recently over from sellers at Etsy. Once again we have another geek style soap made in the shape of space invaders. The Space Invaders Soap measures 1 inch by 1 inch in size and is good for a few washes. They are available in packs of 24 and come in a variety of fragrances. [click to continue…]

The Optimus mini three has had a little bit of hacking done to it by Scott Hanselman. Scott managed to put some code together to display an AVI movie on one of the tiny screens. I am sure that this was no easy task and shows what can be done with technology. Allowing others to hack around with code allows for a lot more then the usual stuff to be done. Check out the video after the jump to see what it’s all about.

We have finally spotted some pictures of the PSP with a GPS unit attached and also the camera. No details have been given, but it’s a step forwards to these becoming available on the Sony PSP.
Edit: The GPS is now available at Play-Asia and costs $59.90.
The Camera is also available at Play-Asia and costs $49.90. The camera is not region restricted.
As we all should realise, the GPS and camera attach to the USB connector at the top and provide extra functionality to the PSP. The GPS unit will have software available for navigation, and I am sure Sony will have a few other tricks up their sleeves like for tracking by transmitting signals via wi-fi or something. With the power and connectivity that the PSP has we can expect some good things.
The camera also will be used as an Eye Toy for the PSP. The Eye Toy is a weird kind of controller that some find annoying, and yet others like my self find incredibly entertaining. It ads a new element of fun although I am not sure how it will convert over to the PSP format and it’s small screen. Maybe it will literally track your eye and your blinking patterns or something
Anyway, I am rambling.
Enjoy the pics
