Drawings and pictures as well as a bit of rumour has been revealed about the HTC HD7. The only thing we don't know at the moment is what it will be actually called. The HTC Desire Z has only just been officially announced. We now have the first prices starting to roll in. The first is from Play.com in the UK who have the new Android smartphone priced at £430.

HTC has added the T-Mobile G2 to it's website. Along with the device being listed, we also get another look at all the technical specs of the phone which include the processor, RAM, ROM, Network compatibility, battery capacity and a bunch of other things.
A lot of these details have already been confirmed previously, but now the details have been added to the HTC site, it kind of sets them in stone as it were.
First off, the processor is an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230. It is clocker slower than the 1GHz Snapdragon, but this doesn't necessarily mean it's slower. [click to continue…]
The T-Mobile G2 is another Android device that's well worth looking out for when it arrives. It is a step up from the original T-Mobile G1 that launched a couple of years back and includes a fast snapdragon processor, runs Android 2.2, the latest OS from Google [GOOG], and connects up to 4G speed networks via HSPA+.
Pricing hasn't been confirmed just yet although we have been told that pre-orders are opening up later this month for those who want to get their hands on one. [click to continue…]
N-Trig isn't a well known company although you might have heard of the Microsoft [MSFT] Surface computer which uses these particular screens.

Earlier this week the HTC Desire HD was spotted over at Amazon. The particular page was quickly removed. The same has happened for the UK mobile phone website called Mobiles.
The page simply showed a darkened out version of what looks to be a Nokia N73 (image coming soon mentioned) and then the title of the HTC Desire HD along with a page to register interest.
The details mention Android 2.2 as the operating system. A large 4.3 inch touchscreen is mentioned along with a 1GHz processor. [click to continue…]
The bar for game quality has just been raised by iD software. John Carmack yesterday demoed a test version of Rage for the iPhone that is capable of running at 60 frames per second. A quote says that this version is able to "kill anything done on the Xbox or PlayStation 2."
The demonstration (video below) uses the id Tech 5 engine and although running on the iPhone 4 in the demo, it is said to run comfortably on all older iPhone models.
Rage will launch as a "show-off" style game according to Kotaku, and a larger fuller game is due out next year. [click to continue…]

Engadget over the weekend, managed to get some pictures of a HTC smartphone running Windows Phone 7. The device has a 3.7 inch SLCD screen along with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and an 8 megapixel camera.
The three buttons that can be seen under the screen are touch sensitive just like the Nexus One and are function as a back, windows and search button which falls in line with the three buttons Microsoft [MSFT] require on Windows Phone 7 smartphones.
The device is apparently ready in terms of the hardware although the software appears to be not finished in that there is no skinning with just the basic information showing. [click to continue…]
