Sprint will be launching the HTC EVO 3D as well as the EVO View 4G on June 24 in the US.

The HTC EVO 3D is a smartphone that has a 4.3 inch qHD 3D display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. When the EVO 3D launches, it will have a price tag of $199.99.

Dell has launched the Streak 7 tablet in the UK. The new 7 inch screen tablet launched in the US recently and just like the US based version, this one runs the Android operating system. On this model is Android 2.2 although future updates will be provided over the air, perhaps to 2.3 or possibly Honeycomb if it follows the HTC Flyer.

This version of the tablet has a 7 inch multi-touch display. The device is capable of running Adobe Flash 10.1. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front as well as a larger 5 megapixel camera on the back. The camera on the back uses auto focus and also has a flash. Powering this tablet is an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

HTC has announced the HTC EVO 3D. The new EVO uses a glasses-free 3D effect to make images pop out of the screen. The 3D screen measures 4.3 inches and is in a QHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It also uses capacitive touch.

The new smartphone uses a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It has 1GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. The storage can be increased by microSD. The device has three cameras with a smaller front facing camera that can capture at 1.3 megapixels and two 5 megapixel cameras on the back. The Dell Streak 7 WiFi Only version is now available for pre-order over at Amazon. Currently, they have it listed at $379.99 although no specific release date has been provided. Due to Amazon already listing it, they could be preparing for a launch within the next 4 - 6 weeks.

The new 7 inch tablet is an Android 2.2 Froyo tablet that has a 7 inch screen that has capacitive touch, and is also multi-touch. Due to it running Android 2.2, it is also capable of running Adobe Flash 10.1. [click to continue…]

As well as announcing the HTC Flyer tablet as well as the ChaCha and Salsa smartphones, HTC has announced three other smartphones called the HTC Incredible S, HTC Wildfire S and the HTC Desire S.

The HTC Incredible S is pictured above and is a GSM device designed for the European market. It has an 8 megapixel camera on the back. The screen measures 4 inches and is a WVGA Super LCD screen. A front facing VGA camera is also included on the Incredible S. This particular smartphone will also be made available in Q2 although we see it will come with Android 2.2 rather than 2.4 like the other devices mentioned earlier. HTC has announced a new tablet device called the HTC Flyer. The Flyer has a 7 inch touchscreen that is also compatible with stylus input. It runs Android 2.4 which is an update to Gingerbread, but still called Gingerbread that brings Android 3.0 Honeycomb elements to the backend.

The tablet is also the first ever tablet that runs the HTC Sense UI. The stylus uses an active digitizer that makes it compatible with the capacitive touchscreen. By including this, they allow for those who want to use a tablet to scribble notes on with a pen rather than finger. [click to continue…]

HTC has filed for a trademark for a new device called the HTC Scribe. The name and specifications suggest that this particular device will be a tablet.

What we have heard about the HTC Scribe is that it will have 2GB of internal memory that can be expanded a further 32GB via a microSD card. It is rumored to have a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with a size of about 10 inches. It isn't clear at the moment if the screen will be capacitive or resistive. [click to continue…]

HTC has announced that the HTC Wildfire will be launching in the US on multiple North American carriers. The launch will be held sometime in the forth quarter of this year... which is any time from now.

The device its self has a 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen and is classed as a mid-range Android smartphone. It has a 528MHz processor, 512MB of ROM and 384MB of RAM.

On the back of the Wildfire is a 5 megapixel camera. For connectivity it has Wireless 802.11b/g. It runs the Android 2.1 operating system. [click to continue…]

We had revealed more recently that the HTC Trophy will be coming to the UK on the Vodafone network, but If you would rather not have to worry about an 18-24 month contract or pay through the nose each month for your glorious and lovely new handset then fear not.
