The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the latest officially backed ‘Google’ Phone, following in the footsteps of the G1 and the Nexus phones. It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS); the Android OS that is supposed to bring together fragmentation that Android has suffered between tablets and phones.

Sky is planning to launch a new internet TV service in the first half of 2012. Anyone with a broadband connection will be able to sign up to use it. The services is described as being stand-alone and OTT with standalone meaning that you don't need to be a regular Sky TV subscriber to use this service and the OTT referring to being "over the top".

A video posted online shows that Ice Cream Sandwich could already be landing on the Asus Transformer Prime. The Android 4.0 update was scheduled to be released this coming Thursday although the posted video shows a Transformer Prime running it now.
