The HTC Sensation is an Android smartphone that falls in to the top end of the range of devices they manufacturer. We've been testing the Sensation over the last few weeks to see what it's like and how it compares to other high end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Nokia has announced that the Nokia N9 will launch in 49 days from now. A dedicated web site has been created which features a countdown timer showing how long is left till the official launch.
As well as confirming the white Galaxy S II today, Samsung has also confirmed the Samsung Galaxy R. The new smartphone is runs the Android 2.3 gingerbread operating system and has a 4.19 inch Super Clear LCD display. The resolution of the screen is 800 x 480 pixels.
Toshiba has launched a new tablet called the WT310/C over in Japan. The new tablet/slate runs the Windows 7 Professional operating system and has been made specifically for the business and enterprise markets.
Apple is more than likely going to be announcing a new refresh of the MacBook Pro range tomorrow. It is expected that these will be going on sale as early as tomorrow.

As you may have noticed, there's a lot of smartphone announcements being made today. This is due to Mobile World Congress running this week.

As well as the Xperia Play introduced by Sony Ericsson yesterday, the company has also revealed the Xperia Neo and Xperia Pro smartphones. Each of the new devices runs the Google Android operating system which from what the press release says, is the latest which means it's Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Xperia Neo, pictured above, is a touchscreen device that has a camera with an Exmor R sensor. This particular sensor has been designed for low light video capture. HP announced the HP Veer along side the HP Pre 3 and the HP TouchPad last night. The HP Veer is the smallest device announced and comes with a 2.6 inch screen that has a resolution of 320 x 500.
On the back is a 5 megapixel camera. Other features include Wireless and Bluetooth for connectivity. For storage, it has an 8GB capacity (6.5GB available space). The small smartphone is compatible with the HP Touchstone charger. It also has GPS built in. [click to continue…]
The HTC Mecha has again been captured on camera. This time around the image shows the Mecha powered up which also allows a few interesting details to be found out.

More details of the HTC HD7 have leaked. This time the news comes from a tipster who posted some specs from O2 Germany on to a popular blog.
What we know is that the HD7 will be a Windows Phone 7 device. It will be a flagship smartphone. The processor running inside will be clocked at 1GHz. For storage it will have 8GB and the camera will be 5 megapixels.

Recently, some pictures of the Motorola DROID 2 World edition were posted online. DroidLife who published those pictures now home some benchmarks and other details about the device.
The processor running inside is an ARMV7 and is clocked at 1.2GHz for this test. Its score was 1709 on the test which isn't bad at all. Results below...

Orange has announced the Orange San Francisco Android based smartphone. The San Francisco is the first Orange branded Android smartphone and will also be the first of others to follow.
Price wise, it falls in to the budget category at £99 and can be purchased along with a pay as you go Dolphin tariff.
Specifications reveal that the San Francisco has a 3.5 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The camera on the back can capture images at 3 megapixels. For connectivity it has WiFi, Bluetooth and USB as well as SatNav mentioned which we assume means GPS.
