Ever wanted to build your own Death Star or perhaps a Light Sabre or Darth Vader mask? This book is for you. The Star Wars Blue Prints book provides all the details you need on how to build all of the above items. Of course you’ll need quite a large factory (about the size of a small moon) if you want to build a full operational Death Star as well as means to get it up in to space, but forgetting the small obstacles you’ll have all you need to get going.
It actually looks like quite an interesting book for times when there isn’t much going on and well worth paying the $14 or so dollars for someone’s Christmas present (although if you are still shopping now then you’ll have to pay for next day shipping to get it on time). [click to continue…]

The clock here is built from an old Millennium Falcon from Star Wars and uses the centre point of the ship to embed clock work in to it’s innards.
Although not a difficult task to accomplish, ie, use a drill and some clock parts, it still looks unique on any wall.
One funny thing to note is the picture to the right of the Millennium Falcon Clock… check out the Storm Trooper there (better picture after the jump). [click to continue…]

If you remember the graphics from Star Wars IV then this cool video shows you almost exactly how they were made. The graphics were created by Larry Cuba in the 70’s over at the Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) in Illinois, Chicago.
In the video you will see how the computer graphics for the scene were they are showing how to destroy the Death Star were made. By using wire frame models (far more basic than what we see nowadays) the scene of the Death Star turret was able to be created. Although a lot more basic then what we see today, it still actually surprised me what they could achieve back in the 70’s. [click to continue…]

What you see here is a “sci-fi themed desk” which is basically a more legal way of saying it’s a Han Solo Frozen in Carbonite desk. The problem is that none of Tom Spina Designs furniture is officially licensed, and hence a slightly different name.
As can be seen, the desk represents a scene from the Star Wars movie where Han Solo gets frozen in carbonite for various reasons. [click to continue…]

The Spacebook T-Shirt makes you understand the risks of being too open on facebook about your job. It is set in the Star-Wars universe, hence the Spacebook name, and shows a storm trooper saying he is going to bunk off work for the day and that Darth Vader is a tool.

We have already mentioned the Star Wars Force Trainer a few months back, but as it’s now available at ThinkGeek we thought we’d mention it again.
The Force is all around us. It flows around and through us. It is between us and that tree and the rock, around our sunken X-Wing, going through our wallet, tickling our armpits, and flowing between our ears. You think we’re joking, but the only way to guide the Force outside your body is to guide the Force inside your head. Yoda told us that once when we had stew over at his house. The stew was ok (if you like licking swamp creatures), but the advice was invaluable.

Check out these cool origami models made from money. The creator, Won Park, made each of the models using US notes. Unfortunately I can find no downloadable instructions like he made for the fish model which can be found here.

R2-D2 is always one of the droids you think of when you see Star Wars. The R2-Q5 USB Hub was designed for those who want something different though.
R2-Q5 was a droid that only appears in Return of the Jedi along with a couple of Lego Star Wars games. The only real difference with this droid is that it’s painted black with red accents and simply just looks different to the usual R2 hub that you see occasionally on someone’s desk.
