Samsung have released details of the Messager II SCH-r650. The Messager II is a dual-keyboard slider that is aimed at those who want IM, e-mail, SMS and MMS on the go. The keypad on the front is numeric and allows for T9 style text entry while the larger QWERTY keyboard slides out from the side and allows normal keyboard entry.
Included inside for connectivity is an EV-DO data radio and stereo bluetooth. Memory can be expanded by using the microSD slot that supports cards up to 8GB in capacity.
A 2 megapixel camera is included that allows pictures to be captured as well as video. GPS is included that works with metroNavigator allowing some basic satellite navigation on the device. The screen measures 2.2 inches and has a resolution of 320 x 200 pixels and can display 262k colours. The screen is not touchscreen.
The Messager II measures 4.5 x 1.9 x 0.9 inches and weighs 4.3 ounces. The phone is available now costing $149.99 from MetroPCS.
