samsung go netbook 2 300x252 Samsung Go going to AT&TSamsung announced today that they are launching the Samsung Go on to the AT&T network on November 22.

The Samsung Go is a netbook that has access to the AT&T network and runs the Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system. The Samsung netbook it's self weighs 2.8lbs making it fairly light weight. The screen is backlit by LED and measures 10.1" and has a WSVGA format displaying 1024 x 600 pixels.

The Go netbook has a pebble-style keyboard with the keys having a good amount of spacing inbetween them. The battery for the Samsung Go has a capacity of 4000Ah which will keep it running for about 4 hours.

Although Samsung do not reveal many of the technical specs on the Go (in the press release), if we look at the specs of the other Go models we see they typically have an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory along with a 160GB HDD. For connectivity they can connect wirelessly at 802.11b/g speeds and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR is also included. We assume with it being launched on to the AT&T network that it will either come supplied with a USB broadband modem, or have one built in as a module.

Although quite a decent looking netbook, there are other alternatives which might be worth you looking at such as the ASUS Eee 1005HA that has over double the battery life.
