Retro Rotary Phone Watch
June 24, 2008
Rotary phones remind me of when I was a kid. We had one in the house (brown or green I think) which did it’s job and did it well. In 2008 you do not tend to see many (any at all?) of these phones around any more. Mix the lack of this with the way technology is moving forwards, then the mixture of the two creates The Zihotch Retro Phone Watch.
The Rotary Phone Watch isn’t actually a phone unfortunately, although it would be rather funny to see one actually used as a phone. The watch only tells you the time. With no display the only way it allows you to find out the time is by dialling 117 and the time will be spoken to you. If you get this number wrong then a message is spoken saying… “We are sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service. Please check and call again.”. An alarm clock is included in the watch too which works as a personal wake up call like in a hotel.
Not bad although I don’t see my self sporting one of them around for too long

I think these gadgets are designed quite nicely, but I would have preferred having either a digital or analog watch face in the speaker area and the speaker could still work through the watch face. After all a watch without a timepiece is….not a watch.
He’s right, this one is a total mess. Go for this one instead
