QuikPod - Handheld Tripod
May 31, 2007

If you enjoy photography and like getting some good shots of your self in front of castles and such then the quikpod can help you out although you will look a tad strange. The quikpod is a device which fastens to the bottom of your camera in to the tripod socket. You can then hold the quickpod away with the camera facing you and capture a nice picture of your self in front of the Eiffel tower. To make sure the camera is correctly facing you a built in self image positioning mirror is included.
The retracted size of the Quikpod is 19cm with the extended size just short of half a meter at 47cm. It weighs 100g and it will set you back $29.99 from ThinkGeek.
I think I will pass on this one and just ask someone around to take the picture instead.
