Rumours have been floating around about Sony and a "potential" Playstation 4 with backwards compatibility. The rumour was sparked by a job offer being advertised where Sony in Japan were looking for a software engineer to tackle backward compatibility on the PS3 and a "next-gen" console. Next-gen could be anything from a new hand-held PSP 2, a PS4 or something else.
Although the PS4 is potentially several years away, could it be that the PS4 will be made available and will it be backwards compatible?
