Sony have officially announced the latest firmware for the PS3 numbered v3.10. In the new version of the firmware the software will allow you to connect your PS3 up to Facebook so that your newsfeed can be automatically updated. When logged in, the PS3 will automatically upload information of your latest scores.
By using the web-browser you can also continue to search Facebook and update it in the regular way along with twitter and various other social networking sites.
Sony have mentioned that the new Facebook score integration is just a start with more ideas launching in future updates.
PS3 3.10 Firmware Details
* The Photo category on the XMB has been revamped to make it easier to see more of your photos stored on the PS3.
* The PSN Friends List has been modified based on feedback we received after update 3.00. Additionally, you can now choose a color for your PSN ID on the XMB.
