Pixel LD-W1 Wireless Live View Screen for your DSLR

Recently digital SLR cameras have started showing up with live view where you can see your subject on the LCD screen (like point & shoot cameras have had for years). Before that you had to look through the view finder.

A company has now created a wireless Live View system that allows you to connect up a wireless transmitter to the camera and see what your camera is looking at from up to 200 feet away. The wireless transmitter sends signals at a frequency of 2.4GHz and is attached to the cameras flash hot shoe.

The device is called the Pixel LD-W1 and has a three inch viewing screen that has a (strange) resolution of 960 x 240 pixels.

The Pixel LD-W1 is available now and costs $335. The website indicates that to use the wireless Live View system you need to have a camera that has an AV out connector to hook up the transmitter to.
