This Sat Nav unit comes from Pioneer. It has a 3.5 inch touch screen with anti glare coating (which is a nice touch). Bluetooth is built in allowing you to pair the Sat Nav with your phone. The S1 has a built in mic and speaker which you can then use as a hands free kit in your car. All the regular features can be found in this sat nav which include searching by address, zip or history, POI searches including petrol stations and restaurants.
The good side of Sat Nav units like this one is that they are ready to go out of the box. Unlike software versions which require a cell phone or PDA and a bluetooth receiver, this has it all in 1 device allowing it to be easily carried around.
Navigation is provided by the fairly standard SiRF Star III GPS chip which allow for a quick first fix time and accurate tracking.
