Adobe has created a new mobile version of Photoshop that’s now available as an app for the iPhone. The Photoshop application gives iPhone users the ability to crop, rotate and perform other various effects on photos captured by the iPhone camera.
By using Photoshop on the iPhone you get access to some powerful software. On a PC or Mac, the Photoshop system is widely used by many designers due to the quality that it produces. Having this on the mobile is fantastic as you’ll get a number of powerful editing tools to work with while on the move.
‘As the digital imaging leader, Adobe is excited to bring Photoshop.com Mobile to iPhone users, said Doug Mack, vice president and general manager of Consumer and Hosted Solutions at Adobe. ‘Now, with access to powerful editing and sharing tools, iPhone users are armed with the resources to document all of life’s unexpected moments, make them look their best and then re-live those memories with friends and family.
The application gives you access to 2GB of online storage for saving your files over on the photoshop website. Unfortunately the app isn’t available out of the US and Canada at the moment although we hope that this changes soon. The application is also free making it well worth getting if available to you.
