Philips had on display at Computex three new display mountable webcams. Each of the three webcams features a wide angled lens, face tracking and emoticon integration. The lower end camera is the SPC620 which has a VGA resolution. The SPC1000 ads a directional microphone with built in noise reduction as well as a 2 mega pixel sensor and 5x digital zoom. The next and last in this range is the SPC1300 which boasts a 6 megapixel sensor with twin directional microphones, Digital Natural Motion technology and Pixel Plus 2 technology.
The lowest of the cameras will cost around $50 and all three cameras will becoming available with in the next few months. They do look quite nice and the 6 megapixel one caught my attention due to some features I havent seen in a camera before.
