Philips Readus

We wrote about the Philips Readius yesterday and came across a couple of video reviews thanks to the guys over at TechEBlog for finding this.

The Readius is demonstrated in the video and you can see the ink changing as it is rolled up and un rolled. It’s a huge jump forward in this area of technology. Paper thin roll up screens can open a whole new area for mobiles. Imagine being able to carry a 10″ screen rolled up in the size of a pen, or even smaller laptops etc… The technology is still working with grey scales, but no doubt the colour and quicker screens are just around the corner.
