PC Tracker Lock

With peoples lives revolving more around a computer they tend to store more private information on it. On some computers there is some information that you do not want others to see such as personal information like banking details, goal lists, weight lists and what ever else you have stored. One way of keeping prying eyes out is by storing all your details on a memory stick. However, not everyone wants to keep details on a memory stick. This is where the PC Tracker Lock comes in to play.

The PC Tracker Lock has one task, and that is to lock files and folders on your computer preventing others from browsing around. The idea and usage behind it is simple. When you want to access your private information you plug the flash key in to your computer and when you want those files locked, you take out the tracker lock from the USB port. The lock works as a protection and basically says to the computer “yes, now that I am attached the user can view all folders on this computer”. With USB being as cool as it is, this USB device not only locks files, but it can also adjust the configuration on your PC which can set limits on internet usage by setting time restrictions for usage. Also log files of everything can be viewed should you need to check that your children are being safe online.

As a complete monitoring and security tool it appears that the PC Tracker Lock is a very handy device to have around. At the end of the day, more information then a few years ago is now kept on the PC making anybody vulnerable to being hacked or personal details being stolen. The PC Tracker Lock just takes protection 1 step closer by guarding your files.
