Palm Pre to Sync with iTunes

It has been revealed that the Palm Pre will be capable of syncing with iTunes right out of the box. A few months ago the rumour was floating around that the Pre would sync but it was thought that a 3rd party app or driver would be needed. Confirmation from Palm now indicates that the capability is actually built in to the firmware of the phone.

The Apple iTunes app will allow music and video files to be copied over as long as no copy-right protection exists on the said files.

This is great news for those who have built up a decent amount of music on iTunes that is DRM free.

I already know Apple is not going to like this feature one bit.
