Ever wondered what Nintendo envisioned the Wii Remote to look like when the Wii was being designed a few years ago? Me neither, but it’s still interesting to dig up patents to see what it could have looked like.
Patent images as well as the one shown above include pictures of the Classic Controller and the Nunchuck. These other 2 controllers don’t appear to have gone through as many changes as the Wiimote it’s self has. It’s interesting to see that the Wiimote seemed to first include an analogue stick which was dropped on the following designs.
