OQO Model 02 now Shipping

The Model 02 from OQO has started shipping today. The OQO is a UMPC which has a slider keyboard, wifi, Bluetooth, WWAN and costs $1499. It isnt too cheap, but at the same time it brings power in to your pocket and is far easier to carry around while on the go. The device is Windows Vista capable and this comes as an option to the standard XP install.

Three different models are available starting with the lowest which features Windows XP, a 30Gb drive, 512Mb RAM and a 1.2Ghz processor. The highest model features the option of XP or Vista, has a 1.5Ghz processor, 60Gb drive and 1Gb of RAM.
