The Nokia Booklet 3G is finally available for order in the UK with a price tag of £649.00 off contract. The Nokia Booklet was first announced in August last year and looks to be a nice little netbook/booklet or whatever you want to call it.
The device runs the Windows 7 operating system and has a 10.1 inch HD ready display. For connectivity it has 3G built in along with wireless at 802.11b/g/n. GPS is also built in for location based services.
The battery on the Nokia Booklet 3G is good for about 12 hours of usage on a single charge allowing it to function most of the day. For storage it as 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive.
The operating system (Windows 7) is the starter edition. Design wise it's built to look great. It has an aluminium body and measures just 2cm in thickness. The screen is coated in an anti-glare covering allowing it to be more comfortable on the eyes in certain lighting conditions.
With the Booklet having 3G built in to it, you are able to insert a SIM card and connect to 3G networks across the UK to browse the net wherever a wireless signal is not present.
It's an impressive netbook computer although I personally would be inclined to wait and see if any network operators are going to carry the netbook at a cheaper price subsidised (although the cost will no doubt be more in the long run doing it that way).
You can pre-order now over at the Nokia Store.
