Nintendo DS Ranger GPS Unit

The Ranger GPS unit is built for the Nintendo DS and gives your DS GPS capabilities. It uses the GBA cartridge slot (not available on newer DSi units).

Although it seems odd to make use of the GBA slot it seems like the company is relying on those millions of people who already own a Nintendo DS Lite and wont be upgrading. The GPS unit uses the latest generation chipset making it very reliable. Google Maps is used for the software and although it’s all aimed towards the DS it actually works on Laptops, PDA’s and other small devices.

No pricing information or availability is known at the moment.
