by Matthew on May 9, 2009

nasa twitter NASA Shuttle Commander to Answer questions from SpaceNASA have announced that the astronaut named Mark Polansky will be answering questions from space. The commander of the next space shuttle mission will be heading in to space on June 13 on the STS-127 mission to deliver final portions of the space stations Japanese laboratory.

Your questions need to be sent via video by uploading to youtube. Once uploaded you need to tweet the Youtube link to @Astro_127 which will then be viewed and possibly selected. If you get lucky by asking a decent question then it will be broadcast live in to orbit where Polansky will answer live on NASA TV. The response will also be twittered and send back to Youtube.

Your questions can be no longer then 30 seconds and need to be uploaded to youtube. You then need to tweet the message to Polanskys account (@Astro_127).

Get submitting now as NASA are selecting a couple of questions a week… see the video below with more details.
