Multi Touch (new touchscreen technology)

by Matthew Newill on September 8, 2006

We recently wrote of the Tangent Multi-Touch Interface. Here is another video of this being put to work with some seriously impressive results. The display can move about according to how your fingers touch the screen. If you want a larger image then you just "stretch" the image or rotate it. This type of display and touch screen technology could be very useful for many things such as museums, notice boards, stress relief :) as well as much more. Lets just hope when it's more available that processor speeds can keep up with rapid movements... it would suck to see slow down on this.
