MSI Wind U160 Intel Atom N450 Netbook – 14 Hour Battery

Several online stores in the US have the MSI Wind U160 netbook available to pre-order. We hear now that the U160 Netbook is starting to ship.

Newegg and Buy.com both have the netbook on their "now-shipping" list while Amazon still has it ready for pre-order which we expect will be updated to now shipping either today or tomorrow.

The MSI Wind U160 is a netbook that runs an Intel Atom N450 netbook. The mixture of the newer more efficient (and faster) processor and a 6 cell battery allow it to run for up to 14 hours on a single charge.

Other features include a 10.1 inch screen that has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD and built in Intel GMA 3150 graphics. For connectivity the device uses 802.11b/g/n networks and also has a 10/100 LAN connector also. Bluetooth is built in as is a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

The MSI Wind Netbook runs Windows 7 Starter and is available now.
