Motorola Milestone Firmware Loaded on to DROID

Milestone-DROIDThe guys over at AllDroid are constantly busy it seems as now they have managed to get the Milestone firmware loaded up on to a DROID in the US. One of the main things that this achieves is that the DROID supports multi-touch (as seen in the video below) and very smoothly I might add. Another thing about it is that Google Maps Navigation also functions as can be expected within the US.

As well as getting multi-touch / pinch zoom working the guys also managed to get the Nexus One boot screen loaded up on to the DROID.

I'm very impressed with the work and hope to see more of this over the coming months. The thread with some details can be found over at AllDroid and a video of the smooth multi-touch running can be seen below.
