Micro Generator

Micro Generator can generate enough power to keep it alive
A micro sized generator has been created which can generate enough power to keep the rest of the circuit running. The generator is the small part right in the middle of the circuit board above. It is about the size of a sugar cube and has great potential.
The generator measures 7 x 7 x 8.5 mm and uses magnets which wobble when it is moved. This movement of magnets is then converted into the electricity needed to power small devices. One example of the micro generator being useful is the Golden Gate Bridge which has sensors which provide engineers with information which could show potential structural problems. If these were used in their place then batteries would not be required as the device would be powered by movement of the bridge.
This device is no where near enough to power a phone or MP3 player with the current power requirements which they demand. But it could be made capable of powering a pace maker for example, as the vibrations of the heart would be enough to keep the pace maker powered.
I like the idea of micro generators and look forward to more power being created, or less power required by devices so that they can be powered while you walk.
