The LG Town GT530 has been designed for those who like to keep in contact either via text messages or via social networks. The device has a slide out QWERTY keyboard and includes social networking services such as Twitter and Facebook to let users easily keep in touch.
The LG Town uses a live social network feed that brings the contents of Facebook and Twitter together in to a single stream that can be easily viewed and interacted with when needed.
The LG Town has a 3 inch wide touchscreen display that allows for a single tap on the screens refresh button to update the social feed.
For connectivity LG has put WiFi in the town. A 2 megapixel camera is also included. More details are expected towards the end of June with a potential launch in July or August. Prices are not known just yet as are details of what networks it will be available on. When we find out we’ll provide an update. What we have heard is that the LG Town will be designed for Europe off the bat, but potentially could make it to other markets.
