We just found out today that the LG Optimus 2X is capable of capturing HD video at 1080p. The new smartphone captures the Full HD with an 8 megapixel camera (video sample below).
As well as being able to capture full HD it has a number of features that make it quite desirable. The operating system running on the X2 is Android 2.2 at the moment although an upgrade to Android 2.3 is expected shortly after launch.
For storage, it has 8GB which can also be expanded another 32GB by microSD if required.
Overall, it looks set to be a smartphone to look out for.
