The LG Chocolate BL20 was spotted earlier this month and was originally thought to be called the LG BL42.
The LG BL20 does not have a touchscreen like it’s bigger brother, the LG BL40 but it does have a touch-sensitive navigation area below the screen that has hidden keys. Also a sliding alphanumeric keypad is included with the phone. The front face of the device appears to be a single sheet of glass making it completely smooth with the keypad sliding out from underneath the device.
The LG BL20 looks to be using the S-Class 3D UI that was first seen in the LG Arena. A 5 megapixel camera is also included on the phone with software that allows you to capture handwritten text to be converted in to text.
Hidden keys include a dedicated widget hotkey allowing access to widgets at the touch of a button. When pressed you simply hit the right or left arrow keys and scroll through all the widgets you have activated on the phone. Volume controls on the left side of the device are also touch sensitive and are backlit by red LED to make it look quite cool.
With the promo video now being available we expect it to be announced soon. Check out the video below.
