LG Bali GM360, LG GX300 and the LG Pure GD550 Appear on LG Site

We have seen the LG Bali GM360, LG GX300 and the LG Pure GD550 previously in a number of leaks. Today, these three smartphones became more official by appearing on the LG site.

LG Bali GM360

First up is the LG Bali GM360 smartphone. Rumours mentioned that it was a dual-SIM phone. This is not the case. The phone on the connectivity side of things is a 2.5G handset capable of connecting to GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks with GPRS and EDGE connectivity. The smartphone uses LG’s own propriety operating system.

The screen on this device measures 3 inches and has a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and can display 262K colours. It is also a touchscreen. The camera on the back can capture images at 5 megapixels and the phone also has 2X digital zoom. For storage a microSD memory card can be used. Wireless and Bluetooth is built in along with an FM radio.

LG GX300

The GX300 is a dual-SIM smartphone that works on tri-band GSM networks. It also has GPRS and Edge connectivity. The phone has a 2.2 inch TFT display that can display 176 x 220 pixels. On the back is a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera. Bluetooth is built in but unfortunately no WiFi although due to the smaller screen, you could probably get away with browsing on a regular cell network at a decent speed. The dual-sim feature of this model could be one of it’s good selling points as I know many who like to switch between providers to get the best text and voice deals. Not having to constantly switch over would be a handy feature to have.

LG Pure GD550

The LG Pure GD550 is a 3G/HSDPA slider device that has a regular (non-touch) screen. It runs the S-Class user interface, or a similar variant of that OS. The device can connect up to quad-band GSM networks as well as UMTS at 900/2100 MHz. This allows for GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA connectivity.

The screen is 2.4 inches in a QVGA resolution and can display 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colours. The phone has a 5 megapixel camera that has 4x digital zoom. For storage it has microSD and for connectivity it has Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0. No mention of WiFi on this device either.

The new phones will be launched towards the end of next month in select markets, none of which have been made known just yet.
