LBook are planning to launch their new Windows 7 powered multitouch tablet next year. The LBook T9 is an ultra-thin tabletPC that will cost somewhere between $350 - $375 when launched and have some fairly good specs too. The screen will measure 8.9" and have a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The unit will be powered by an Intel Atom Z530 1.6Ghz processor and it will pack in 2GB of DDR2 memory. For storage the T9 will have a 120GB HDD and for connectivity it will have both WiFi and Bluetooth as well as optional 3G support.
Battery life is expected to be around 4 hours on a single charge and we could see the LBook T9 arrive sometime in March next year.

The body of the T9 will measure just 12.7mm making it quite a thin device and the device will also run Windows 7.

WOW. A few Marches ago this would go for closer to 5 thousand dollars.
And now, for less than 500… with Windows 7!
The multi-touch screen will be shweet but I’m not sure how nice it will be on a 9 in screen.
The Windows 7 seminar I went to satisfied me on the latest OS’s features. Also, all the bugs Vista had will be gone.
I’ll be reserving a few hundred for a T9
… but only if it’s not made in China or Vietnam.
This one looks like a killer…….with 2 GB or Primary Memory and 120 GB of Storage Memory..It is a Sure Watch Out…
It surely Looks Better And Wondrous than Archos Android Tablet..Sometimes waiting becomes difficult….
