The Quadra is a 4TB RAID solution for home or office use. It is compatible with several standards which are Firewire 400 and 800, USB 2.0 and eSATA. Several RAID levels are also available which are 0, 0+1, 5 and 5+ Hot spare. This allows greater flexibility which means if you have an office that requires speed more then redundancy then you have the option available.

An inbuilt sensor shuts down the device when it over heats (55 degrees C). When a drive fails a new one can be inserted and the data will be automatically rebuilt. What makes this device cool is that you do not need to install drivers. It just connects and works. 3 models are available which have sizes or 2TB, 3TB and 4TB costing from $1099 to $1599.
