Jupiter Mouse - Made of Wood
March 7, 2008
This mouse is made of wood and gets it’s name of the “Jupiter Mouse” because of it’s wood-grain Jupiter like swirls and the famous Jupiter like spot. You might be wondering how this curious looking sphere of a mouse actually works. It works using tilt sensors. When you tilt the little planet right, the mouse pointer moves right and if you tilt it left it will do likewise. The mouse pointer also moves at varying speeds according to the tilt. If you need to get across the screen quickly then tilt it more.
You have to admit that it’s one weird but cool looking mouse. The Jupiter Mouse costs ¥13,980.which is currently just less then $140.
Other similar spherical style mouses are also available over at Darumouse (linked below).
