iSwish turns your Windows Mobile in to an iPhone

May 1, 2008

iswishSince the iPhone was launched I have often been envious of how smooth the menu system is on it compared to my Windows Mobile device. Although I do like windows mobile devices and have one my self, I still want the speed and smooth scrolling that the iPhone is capable of.

It seems that Windows Mobile wins on the “features” and iPhone wins on the sleekness. Now (well, very soon) you can have the best of both worlds with a new app built for Windows Mobile named iSwish. iSwish is an application that replaces your today screen on Windows Mobile and allows you to scroll around menu’s and the config screens with that great smoothness that you love on the iPhone. Other features on the iSwish interface is iZoom pinch applications which allow you to manipulate photos in a similar way to what you would on the iPhone.

From the video presentation below, it seems that the UI works very smoothly on a number of Windows Mobile devices including the older iPaq 5400 series which is good to know.

It looks great and is one app I will be installing when made available. Check out the video below! iSwish should be available very soon, as in early May.
