It seems like the iPhone 3G is a step closer to being unlocked. According to iPhone-Sync the screen shot shows that the software has been modified, and fails an integrity check.
What you will notice is that the phone is actually still running though. It’s not any real indication of how close an unlock will be, but it is a sign of a step in the right direction.
