HTC Touch Diamond finally at Verizon

htc touch diamond verizon HTC Touch Diamond finally at VerizonThe HTC Touch Diamond is now on it’s way to Verizon customers. The carrier announced that it will be available to purchase from today costing $299.99 with a 24 month contract (ouch).

The HTC Touch Diamond is a nice smartphone which offers Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.2 megapixel camera and uses HTC’s touchflo interface. microSD allows the phone to be expanded which provides up to 16Gb of extra storage space.

It seems like pricing is a tad high and even more so on a 24 month contract. The HTC Touch Diamond is not really a new phone either as there is a Diamond2 expected to be released sometime in the next few months. I do have to wonder if anyone will take them up on this offer.

If for some reason you must have the Touch Diamond then it might be worth you checking out Sprint who have it $100 cheaper at the moment.
