HTC have announced the HTC Legend Android 2.1 based mobile phone that comes with the new HTC Sense. The Legend is built around the new Sense UI that HTC have been working on. The device has a 3.2 inch AMOLED HVGA display that provides crisp images.
Rather than using the traditional trackball, HTC have opted for an optical joystick in it's place with the surrounding area of the optical sensor being a clickable area. The phone has a unibody design to the casing making it durable and strong.
The HTC Legend is being launched in Europe on to the Vodafone network in April and in quarter 2 it will be rolled out to other parts of the world (Asia being specifically mentioned).
Moving back to the new HTC Sense, HTC also mention that when launched the Sense update will be offered freely to those who already own a HTC Hero.
