HTC Hero – Android with Flash

The HTC Hero is an Android based phone (the 3rd one from HTC) and is the first that supports flash. It has the same familiar trackball that the G1 has and is shaped very similar to the G1. It has a 480 x 320 pixel screen measuring 3.2 inches in a HVGA format.

The camera on this model has been bumped up to 5 Mega pixels and the camera features auto-focus. AGPS, a digital compass and 3.5mm headphone jack are also found in this device. A gravity sensor is also included which should be an interesting feature to see in some software releases. The HTC Hero has 512MB of onboard storage memory and this is expandable by microSD cards. A 528MHz Qualcomm processor runs the device.
