You would set your preferred account up just as you would in Outlook 2003 or 2007, just make sure you have you settings correct and you won't have any probs. I get my company e-mail via my HTC Droid... They're Google based, but probably not quite as much as you are expecting... Good luck and I hope you end up getting one, because iPhone is ridiculous in their 3G Service areas, so we need to see more folks buying Droid based phones so that more cool apps will be developed... I am on the VZW network and I love mine, esp the "Visual Voicemail so you don't have to phone *86 everytime you check a msg. Instead, you can just go to the VVM app and hit the play button and you're listening to it, plus it does a much better job of picking up foriegn wi-fi routers than does my iPod touch... All in all, I give the phone about a 7.5/10 RIGHT NOW, but it has plenty of potential to be a 10 in the future...

You can put any POP3/IMAP server on the HTC Droid’s Mail, it even supports the exchange server. I am switichin gover from Windows Mobile. I am a big Microsoft supporter but I just couldn't deal with Windows Mobile anymore. I did like however how I could sync my contacts and Live Mail account with my phone effortlessly. Is there any app available or in the works to support Microsft Live Mail and contact sync? I do not really use my Gmail account. And I have read about the forwarding option.. But I'd really just like to be able to put my preferred E-mail account on this lovely phone.

I plan on purchasing this phone come December when it finally becomes available here in the U.S. I am also happy to have read today that they are soon releasing a firmware update to fix the sluggishness that had been reported in reviews.

I do have one major concern.
