htc hd2 HTC HD2 Priced in the UK on O2s NetworkMobiles.co.uk based in the UK have now priced up the HTC HD2 on their site along with the prices of contracts for both 18 and 24 month periods. The cheapest you’ll get a HD2 for is free based on a £40/month 24 month contract with the monthly contract dropping to just £15 if you are willing to pay £259.99 for the phone. That’s not a bad price for this much anticipated phone.

A quick reminder of specs show the HD2 has a 4.3 inch display that uses capacitive touch and also reacts to multitouch too. The phone uses HTC’s Sense UI installed on top of Windows Mobile 6.5. A 1GHz Snapdragon processor makes the OS run smoothly. Connectivity wise it has HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth and for location based services GPS is also included.

The phone was supposed to launch last week although that was delayed for some reason. Hopefully with Mobile picking it up on their site it means that it’s almost ready for launch any time soon.

As for which price plan to pick, you’ll need to weigh up how much you want to pay per month based on affordability and how many free minutes and texts you need. The sweet spot tends to be the £35/month on an 18 month contract which gets you the phone for a respectible £79.99 although check out all the details as Mobile do through in a freebie on some of them such as PS3’s, Laptops etc…

The phone hasn’t shown up on the O2 site yet, but I suspect it will do sometime very soon.
