HTC officially announced the HTC Desire today. Following that announcement T-Mobile in the UK made an announcement on Twitter that the Desire will be heading to their network with a launch date of March 26.
At the moment we do not know pricing and what contracts it will be made available on although we suspect it will be similar to the Orange pricing at £35/month with the handset costing nothing.
The HTC Desire is an Android based smartphone that runs Android 2.1, has a 3.7 inch WVGA screen and can connect to 3G+ networks in the UK.
With what appears to be a number of operators offering the HTC Desire, we should see some good pricing for the phone (in the Orange case, free on a £35/month... probably 24 month... contract).
As soon as we hear more on pricing we'll update the post here to include the details.
