Geeky Gadgets spotted today that the HTC Desire HD could be made available on the T-Mobile network in the UK for free on a 24 month £30/month contract. Prior to spotting this on a website, they heard that it could also be available for either £35 or £40 per month from T-Mobile direct.
It isn't clear at the moment which pricing is correct. It could be that the 3rd party website offering it on T-Mobile is offering a discount, or that the site is just guessing the price for now. Either way, we'll find out for sure soon. As of now, they still list the price as £30/month with the phone being free.
As for the technical specs, the HTC Desire HD has a 4.3 inch screen that is a WVGA format of 480 x 800 pixels. The processor is clocked at 1GHz and is a Snapdragon.
For storage it has 1.5GB and it also has 768MB of RAM. When available, it will run Android 2.2 which is the latest version of the Google operating system for smartphones.
