What to do if you drop it down the loo
If you have ever had a mobile phone drop out of your pocket in to the toilet or some other wet place then you will probably be very frustrated. However, there is hope. The first thing to do is check insurance. Sometimes you may have accidental damage cover on your phone. If this is the case then just give the mobile phone company a call and ask for a new one. If not then there is still hope for you. First step is to turn off the phone and put it in a towel so that it absorbs the water from the casing to prevent any more getting in. Next take the battery and SIM card out and dry them off. Once those are out and dry you need to take the casing of the phone off carefully and grab your self a hair dryer. Before you get the hairdryer on to it, wipe off any water with paper towels and keep using new paper to stop the damp paper making it more damp.
Carry on drying the phone
Now you need to shake off any excess water by flicking the phone (being careful not to throw it against the floor). Again, get some paper towels and take off any new water that has appeared from any tight spaces. Once this is completed you need to get out the hair dryer and waft away making sure it doesnt get too hot and damage the inner parts of the phone.
The last few steps require that you leave the phone for a while (over night) in a warm place. Next you put the phone back together, plug it in and switch it on. Hopefully all is well.
